STU mourns the late Omanhene of Sunyani

Management and staff of STU last Friday joined hundreds of mourners at the forecourt of the Sunyani Traditional Council in Sunyani to mark the One Week celebration of the death of Nana Bosoma Asor Nkrawiri II, the Omanhene of the area.

The occasion was characterized by rich cultural display by Tanokrom Agoromma from the Centre for National Culture and in Sunyani and several other cultural troupes.

As expected, traditional rulers from various paramount areas from across the country, delegations from various public and private institutions and people from all walks of life thronged the venue to participate in the One Week Celebration.

Ing. Prof Kwadwo Adinkra-Appiah, the Vice-Chancellor, led the university to mourn with the bereaved family, the traditional council and the entire Sunyaniman.

The Vice-Chancellor, on behalf of the university, also signed the book of condolence as part of the occasion.

In line with custom, STU presented drinks and an amount of money to the Traditional Council.
