STU Hosts Delegation from Canadian High Commission in Ghana

A two-member delegation from the High Commission of Canada in Ghana has called on the Management of Sunyani Technical University (STU) to discuss possible areas of collaboration between Canadian tertiary institutions and STU.

Andrew Maharaj, Counsellor (Commercial) and Kathleen Ami Afful, the Trade Commissioner, on behalf of the High Commission also explored various educational opportunities available for STU students and faculty, and further discussed other areas of co-operation, going forward.

Mr. Maharaj assured STU of the High Commission’s commitment at facilitating the process of linking up Canadian Universities with STU for their mutual benefit.

The Vice-Chancellor of STU, Ing. Prof Kwadwo Adinkrah-Appiah and the Registrar, Mr. Samuel Ankama Obour took turns to assure the delegation of STU’s readiness to take advantage of this opportunity to build the capacity of faculty and broaden the horizon of students.

Present at the meeting were Deans, Directors and management members of STU.
