The Academic Board of Sunyani Technical University (STU) has met to review the official launch of the 55th Anniversary and the 300-million-cedi Endowment Fund, which came off on Saturday, April 30, 2022.
The Chairman of the STU @ 55 Planning Committee, Prof. Jones Lewis Arthur, gave a progress report on the committee’s work so far and called for the support of all members of staff to make the anniversary a resounding success.
The meeting called for a renewed commitment towards the various activities scheduled to commemorate the 55th-anniversary celebrations.
Members further charged the Planning Committee to intensify publicity on the activities of the anniversary and encouraged all staff to be committed in the payment of their contributions towards the Endowment Fund.
In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor, Ing. Prof. Kwadwo Adinkrah-Appiah while thanking members of the various committees for good work done, proposed to synchronize the activities of the 55th Anniversary Planning Committee and the Endowment Fund Committee for smooth operations towards realization of the Ghs50 million Ghana cedis target for this year.
