Autobiography
Dr. Ernest Kumi is a senior lecturer and the head of the department of marketing at Sunyani Technical University (STU). He earned both his Master's and Bachelor's degrees from the University of Ghana, Legon. He obtained his Ph.D. in human resource management at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). His research interests include career development, work and life integration, organizational behavior, labor force technology, entrepreneurship, and human resource management. He has held a number of positions at STU, including head of the Department of Marketing (2016–2017) and director of the Brong Ahafo Research and Community Engagement Unit (BAREC) from 2017–2019. His goal is to help students develop a broad and deep understanding of the critical role human resources play in any organization and how this knowledge can be applied to generate better outcomes for employees, customers, and shareholders.
